KBR has served as a longtime partner to the British military and has been a key contractor in both Iraq and Afghanistan for the UK Ministry of Defense (MOD). The MOD, in partnership with KBR, brings a behind the scenes look at the work it took to build Camp Bastion and the task of closing it down in “Bringing Home Bastion”.
“From the Main Operating Base of Camp Bastion to the outposts of Shawqat and Naridullah, deep in Helmand Province, KBR personnel stood side-by-side with soldiers every step of the way; unseen, unheralded, but fuelling their fight, civilian defence contractors ensured troops could focus on what they do best."
