The Annual Project Management awards ceremony at the Park Plaza, London, celebrates projects, individuals, and organisations from the project profession.  We are proudly attending the prestigious awards ceremony hosting 17 different award categories.  

 

We are proud to be sponsoring the innovation category award (Innovation in Project Management Award).  

We are delighted to be nominated for three awards! Find out more on the reasons behind our nominations here:  

  • Company of the Year Award- In our UK Projects and Programmes Division, our name reflects our DNA – the exceptional delivery of projects. Specialising in defence, nuclear and infrastructure projects we solve complex solutions for the UK government and across the EMEA region. With an industry-leading combination of people, technology, and innovation, we consistently and repeatedly achieve outstanding outcomes for our customers. KBR’s motto is ‘We Deliver’ – and that’s what we do.

  • PMO of the Year Award- In our UK Projects and Programmes Division, our PMO has created a virtual PMO. Transforming internal portfolio, programmes, and projects governance, but also creating a new offering for our customers. We combined our industry-leading combination of people, technology, and innovation. This NextGen PMO model has evolved, to additionally provide culture, knowledge, innovation, and maturity development on top of routine reporting. KBR’s motto is ‘We Deliver’ – and that is what our PMO has done this year, accelerating project management capability and community assurance for our customers. 

  • APM Sustainability Award- In this award submission, we proudly highlight our sustainability project working for the Foreign and Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) delivering Life Services Support to the British Embassy in Mogadishu (BEM), Somalia. Specifically emphasising the construction and operation of a state-of-the-art Sewage Treatment Plant which was completed in March 2023.  This significantly reduced wastewater disposal from the site, we used water in a more sustainable manner, contributed to a more environmentally responsible operation, and took action to achieve our Carbon Net Zero targets, both for KBR and the UK Government.
