KBR’s Commitment to Customer and Community at the Forefront of UK MOJ Contract
KBR is proud to deliver solutions to government customers that help overcome their most complex challenges – creating a safer, more secure and sustainable world.
One area that KBR is doing this is in our enduring support to the UK government, including our facilities management integrator capability to the UK Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Services including data collection and analysis, performance reporting, coordination of works, fire risk assessments, contingency planning and disaster recovery. KBR’s Swindon-based National Service Hub (NSH) is helping drive efficiency and supporting sustainability efforts across a part of the MoJ’s estate including probation offices, approved premises, national training centre, MoJ HQ and the Home Office estate. The success of KBR’s integrator capability was recognized recently with a three year contract extension for its support to the MoJ, through which our talented people will continue to help deliver a high performing real estate function that is recognized across UK Government as a leader in its field.
KBR’s work for the DWP leverage’s the skills of our business intelligence team who analyze information across its estate footprint of over 1,000 properties – to provide meaningful data that improves efficiency, compliance and support efforts to reduce its overall carbon footprint.
KBR also provides account, asset and financial management, data analytics, and management information reporting.
A key to its success has been the 24/7 helpdesk provision provided out of the NSH that ensures a timely response to all requirements across often complex estates. In addition to the world class services provided to our customers, the growing team’s energy and passion for helping others shines through a program of activities that are making a positive social, environmental and economic impact in the local community. The team dedicate time to support community projects, including a local center that provides much needed support and training to members of the community, as well as regular charity initiatives. The team also work closely with local employment agencies to help people find employment opportunities and have recently employed several individuals following an open day to showcase the work of the NSH.
KBR’s estate integrator services empower customers to manage their estates and supply chains in a sustainable and cost-effective way, increasing the value from people, assets and suppliers. The integrator model helps maximize the benefits, including social value – with examples from existing contracts including greater use of small and medium enterprises.
